What is the rental fee?
We are listing the home, furnished at CDN $6800 per month.
Where do I park?
There is a designated parking spot on Eagle Harbour Road, across from the Eagle Harbour Yacht Club. Extra cars may park in any free spot along the street. Each car gets a decal.
How do I get to the island?
The channel is only 50 feet from dock to dock. Every home has one barge (ours has an environmentally-friendly push-button electric motor) and we also have 2 rowboats. We keep a wheelbarrow in the parking spot that is used to transport groceries, and one at the house as well. Everything is much lighter in a wheelbarrow and carrying things back and forth is no trouble at all.
Can you swim nearby?
We swim off the main dock, and also use Eagle Harbour Beach which is right beside the Eagle Harbour Yacht Club.
Are there gardens?
We have two ‘turret’ gardens for vegetables off the kitchen and back deck. The whole property is landscaped with flowers, trees and shrubs. There are window boxes as well, and two composts. We throw all food scraps, grass clippings and garden debris there.
Is it furnished?
Yes, furniture, dishes, kitchen appliances and linens are provided. We could discuss storing the furniture if you want to bring your own. Note: not each and every piece shown will remain in the home, but most will.
How long will the rental be?
We can accommodate short or long term rentals, and are comfortable leasing for several years.
Do you have restrictions?
We do not accept smokers.
Do you allow pets?
Yes – the island is a truly magical place for animals. In fact, we have all gotten to know the seals and herons in the channel. Each year one seal gives birth on a neighbour’s dock. We’ve often watched the birth and nursing as well.

Why are you renting?
We are relocating to another city, but want to come back when we retire, as it’s a dream house and the island keeps everyone young, healthy and stress-free!
Where do I get mail?
Mail is delivered to a Canada Post box in the parking lot.
Is there common space on the island?
There is a circular path that’s great for running. The neighbours are a wonderful community and each month there is a wine and cheese on someone’s lawn, the main dock, or in homes.
